Library Resource Centre

WELCOME TO THE
LIBRARY RESOURCE CENTRE

The Library Resource Centre is open from 8.20 am until 4.30 pm every day, including recess and lunchtime. Students are welcome to make use of a range of resources to help them with their studies. These include a good selection of Fiction and Non-Fiction resources, as well as magazines and newspapers.

The library is more than just books

Students are welcome to take part in the lunchtime activities in the Library throughout the week. These include; Jewellery Making, Board Games and Chess Club. The Library is a vibrant space and there are plenty of opportunities to catch up on school work, relax with a good book in one of the comfortable Bean Bags, or catch up with friends for a chat. Senior students are also catered for, with a dedicated study space (ISP Room). There are desktop computers, which are available for student use. Some of the highlights of the Library year include; Children’s Book Week, a visit from a children’s author and the Grade 6 Orientation visits.

LIBRARY HOMEWORK HUB

What is the Library Homework Hub?
The Library Homework Hub provides an excellent opportunity for students to establish sound study and homework habits, by completing unfinished work or doing extra study. At the end of the school day, all students are encouraged to access the Library resources, using both reference material and the Internet. To complete homework or study. It is also an opportunity to relax with a good book and unwind for the day.
