Instrumental Music

Music is a space for North Geelong Secondary College students’ to grow as individuals and develop their understanding of musical practise and knowledge. The Instrumental Music Program offers a range of instruments for students to learn as an extracurricular activity from Year 7 to Year 12.

Each music student has the opportunity to learn music performance, organisation of sound (composition and improvisation) and musicianship. Allowing a single lesson once a week with small groups of students with an accomplished Instrumental Music Teacher.

In providing instrumental lessons for students it offers an opportunity for self expression, creativity and achievement within their secondary education. The program provides the following options:

• Voice

• Guitar

• Bass Guitar

• Drums

• Keyboard

The annual fee for instrumental music is $100.00.
