Race snaps

On the Saturday the 27th of July 2024 North Geelong Secondary College sent two mixed community teams to the third race in the Victorian Human Powered Grand Prix Series. 

The two teams were comprised of both current and former Human Powered Vehicle Team members. So that the former team members could mentor the new team members. 

The teams were entered into a mixed community category to allow the past students to ride with them. The purpose being to encourage safe and appropriate riding technique.

This race was chosen to provide a foundation to educate the new team members in preparedness for the Energy Breakthrough in November.

Both teams represented the college well with Tsunami coming 53rd and Avalanche coming 76th out of a highly competitive 98 trikes in less than ideal conditions.
